Basic first aid for workplace care

The MEDIC FIRST AID Emergency Care First Aid Version 6.0 training program  is designed to train individuals and corporations that require training in basic first aid skills. This program will provide first aid training to students, giving them the skills necessary to manage illnesses and injuries until the arrival of EMS. Emergency Care is designed to complement cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training in order to meet OSHA requirements for first aid training in the workplace.

Hands-on Skill Practice

Students will practice essential skills in small group practices and can also apply those skills in optional scenario-based practices.

Recommended Time to Complete

  • Initial Training: 2 to 3 hours
  • Retraining time depends on the experience and training history of the students. It is typically shorter than initial training.

Students are evaluated through instructor observation of the reasonable performance of skills. Performance and written evaluations are available and optional for use.
