The newest version of MEDIC FIRST AID Basic, the flagship program in the family of MEDIC FIRST AID training programs is now available.
MEDIC FIRST AID Basic, Version 5.0 sports a fresh new print look, contains all new video scenarios, and includes all the updated resuscitation guidelines.
The MEDIC FIRST AID Basic, Version 5.0 program design is more flexible than previous versions. It allows Instructors to customize training based on the typical hazards and risks faced by their students. MFA Basic allows students to receive a Successful Completion Card by either completing an initial course, a scenario-based retraining course, or by challenging the course. An optional program segment is included for training in the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).
This new version replaces the current Mark III and Mark IV versions of MEDIC FIRST AID Basic. Current Facilitators will be given adequate time to transition to the new version.
Updates of other training programs in the MEDIC FIRST AID family of programs will follow the release of the Basic program.
